Ovation Hair : week umm ….. yeah

So… being that I have commitment issues across the board its quite obvious why I stopped 4 or 5 weeks ago.

But I am back. I have kept up with my hair routine… yay?
I’m excited to report results.

When I started this my hair was 3 and a half inches on average. My hair grew 2 1/2 inches in a little less than 2 months. I cut off about a half inch of damaged hair so I have a net growth of 2 inches since I started this.

I had braids for about 7 weeks before I got fed up with them. After i took them out ( about a week ago) I did a 3 or 4 days of intense conditioning.

Now my hair is out and I’ll be playing with different styles for a few weeks before I go back to braids.

My edges are going in nicely 🙂 I’m excited about that.

So I bet you are wondering if their slogan is a bunch of bull…. well… yes and no.

Yes because it leads you to believe the hair you already have will become thicker, longer, stronger. The reality is that your damaged hair is damaged and there is no way to repair it. You have to just cut it off. ( hence my half inch of cutting)

And now to why it isn’t bull. Ovation promises thicker, longer stinger hair. So as you use the ovation the new hair growing in will be exactly what they promised it would be. ( my roots are thick and it makes my soul smile… especially cause my edges were an issue so its growing in thicker 🙂 )

I’m not some hair guru. I don’t know everything, however I’m pleased with the short term results.

I plan to continue to use Ovation until something better comes along. ( commitment issues) And i’ll try to do better keeping up with the blogging part.

I’ve found that the blogging helps to keep me on track. I might have to do that for dieting and exercise ( a journal rather than a blog)

WELP! I hope this was informative. 🙂

Later Gators!
