I’m a bit late posting this blog. Not excuses. Lol!
I spent this past week SERIOUSLY moisturizing my hair. I took a break from the ovation because I noticed that my hair was dryer than usual and to avoid breakage I didn’t use it for this past week. I used an argan oil based deep conditioning treatment by Creme of Nature. I must RAVE about it. It smells really good and it’s very rich and it WORKS! My hair was very moisturized and I’ve decided to make that my go to deep conditioner. ( until I find something better)
Speaking of something better, My mother ( being the awesome woman that she is) is VERY supportive of my efforts to “go green” in my beauty regimen. So we are going to purchase all the oils and things that are good for your hair and skin in hopes that something will stick.
As far as hair growth.. nothing too crazy. I’m still at about 4, 4 1/2 inches on average. I’m also incredibly impatient and rather than letting my frustration get to me and chopping all my hair off and hiding under hats, I’ve decided to braid my hair. So for the next 6 to 8 weeks My hair will be braided. HOWEVER I do plan to continue using the Ovation system 2 to 3 times a week as recommended.
I’m definitely not a hair expert so THANK YOU for going on my journey with me.
until next week
