Howdy Lovlies,
In the last few weeks i’ve been a bit obsessed with natural products for my skin. This came about because I have SUPER SENSITIVE skin. I frequently get rashes and hives and it’s SOOOO annoying and considering how vain I am I don’t like my skin doing all this crazy stuff.
Anyway, I started with “green” lotion. Its a mix of Aloe and Shea butter and Tea tree oil. my skin is SOOO much softer and all the scars from acne and previous rashes have begun to lighten. ( which i’m psyched about.)
I also am experimenting with deodorants. I am sort of against Antiperspirants because you are supposed to sweat however.. smelling bad is not my forte. SO!!! I melted down some cocoa butter and put in tea tree oil ( because it’s anti- bacterial and anti-fungal.) and I added a bit of baking soda. I poured it back it to the tube and stuck it in the freezer. I’ve been using this mix for a few days now and i’m pleased. BUT it’s not hot yet. So we’ll have to wait til the temperatures rise to see if it really works.
I am also attempting the green food thing. But that is sooo much harder than it seems. And its expensive. But i figure if i make small changes to my diet and beauty routine now it’ll be easier to sustain larger changes in the future.
I just thought i’d share because i am really excited about it. 🙂
